Translation for Standard BAPI error messages

Hi All,

We are calling a standard BAPI in our report program. This BAPI has return table of type BAPIRET2.

When i logon in Spanish Language, still the BAPI returns error messages in English.

Any pointers to get the messages from Standard BAPI's in Logon language.

In Which BAPI, you are getting this wiered problem?

Hi Naimesh,

I am getting this problem in almost all BAPI's

for eg.

BAPI_BUS2001_PARTNER_GETDETAIL

BAPI_SAG_GETDETAIL

eg. Message class CJ & no. 011.

If i goto SE91 & open the no. & check translations..they are in english.

I had tried to run the BAPI_BUS2001_PARTNER_GETDETAIL in Spanish and it gave the return message in Spanish (!!!).

Try to debug, give the attension at FM PS_BAPI_INITIALIZE as it has some parameters for the languague.

Hi Naimesh,

The BAPI PS_BAPI_INITIALIZE is called but it doesnt return the desired language & none of the code of the BAPI is executed.

Any pointers to fix this ?

The language specific CD provided by SAP had all the necessary translations.
