transaction variant problem regarding VA02

Hi,

I have set a transaction variant for T code VA02 to make condition tabstrip not to be displayed , it is running successfully when i am testing in SHD0 but after creating a variant transaction(YVA02) through SE93 it is not working.

Please provide me any information that's available on this.

Hi Mr. Paul,

I am facing the same problem. I made a trancation variant in SHD0 to make a field in VA02 to Output Only. Even after activating it is not affecting. Have you got a solution for the problem.

you both need to assing the screen varient to VA02.

Hi Amit,

I will explain you what I have done in short.

Task : I have to make the Sales Order PO Date field to Output Only.

Steps:

I made a transactions variant in SHD0 for the VA02 and while recording I made the PO Date field to Output Only and then I made Save & Exit.

While activating the variant I am getting a Information Message "Standard variant also set at beginning of transaction without variant!".

After activating even from SHD0 if you press F8 ( Test) it is not getting affected.

Please help me.

hi if you create a variant using shd0 then you need to activate in shd0 under standart variant.

not: if you transport it to another server then you need to activate it manually by going to shd0 , orelse it wil not work
