Transaction Code Problem

Hi all,

I created a transaction code and assigned it to a program, when i tried to run the transaction, it loads everything up, it shows the selection screen, etc. but when you press the execute button, it goes right back to the SAP menu and would not run. Any advice?

Oh, I forgot to mention that when the program is run using SE38 and not through the transaction code, it does not have problem.

Hi,

I think while creating the T code you selected a wrong radio button for program assignment.If it is a report program you need to check 2nd radio button (Program and selection screen) or if it a dialog program check the first one.

When you create the transaction, select the second ratio button 'Program and selection screen (report transaction)'.

It should work.

then you will be able to run,..

u should click the second check box thats for reports .

Also check the package u mentioned leave it blank it will show $tmp default. Do give any thing in the application type parameter unless u know ur appln type and have authorization.
