transaction code generation

hi all,

i want to know if i create a transaction code like zmxx will be a function group created seperately for this transaction code with the same name. and if there is a function group existing with the same name will that function group get affected with the generation of the transaction code.

please let me know it, it is urgent.

No it will not getting affected with the creation of a transaction code.

Hi,

No TCODE is different and function group is different. Both can be of same name. It doesn't afftect its work.

TCODE for creating transaction code - SE93

TCODE for creating function Group - SE37.

Function group is a set of all function modules.

Tcode is different.
