Hi

Add (by doing small change in each program) all those programs Code, text elements, message clases and other fun modules etc into a single transport request and release it.

Take the DATA and CO files from the Harddisk to a external disk or CD and insert the same into the new system

this will work

Hi,

Pls go to SE09. Release all the Transport request from the current system. Once the TR is released, pls go to T-Code STMS for moving the TR from one system into another system or one client to diffrent client.

i.e. from development to Quality client

Regards,

JLN

HI,

Usually all the transport requests are taken care by basis Guy. I hope you have maintained Transport request/Revtrac for each development.

You can check in tcode - SE09/Se10.

Anyway check this as well.

Transport Request to another Server

1. Via transaction STMS:

After getting to transaction STMS, click on Transport Overview(F5) from application toolbar.

This lists the defined transporting layers.

Select the server to where it has to be imported. Double click on the same.

Always better to refresh in the next screen to have latest requests.

Select the request to be imported.

Use menupath: Request -> Import.

In the next dialog give the client number, select Synchronous from Execution tab.

Now select, this will start the importing session. It might ask for login if you are trying to import from Development.
