Training Event Module Error E721

Hi all,

The Training Event Module ( TEM ) processes course management ( setting up courses, bookings, cancellations etc ). We have recently come across a scenario whereby the system will not allow the cancellation of an individual booking.

The error message output is :

Error E721 No editing possible; billing and allocation document exists.

There is no further help on the system or documentation to explain where the user procedure has gone wrong and what is needed to rectify the situation. I have tried debugging the SAP code and found that the field HRVPAD25-BELNR seems to play a decisive role in the logic.

I would appreciate some help.

Well i am not sure but I have faced a similar scenario and the reason could be that since the individual attendee is already booked and billed also that's why you cannot cancel it.

Can you please let me know whether the particular Business Event has already happened or its going to happen in near future...

As per my understanding, the reason could be that since the attendee is already booked and the billing document is also been generated, so we are too late for the cancellation.

you have to cancel the bookings before making any changes to Business Event.

Hi Amit,

Thank you for your interest in my problem.

I am not trying to change the business event. The course has already been set up correctly with many people booked onto it. All I wish to do is cancel one of those bookings.
