To Implement cannot be imlpemented SAP Notes

Hi all,

I need to implement these notes 1477691 , 1855550 , 1452982, 1848201. but all these notes show status as 'cannot be implemented'. The user is asking me the reason why it cannot be implemented. How can i find the reasons why its status is cannot be implemented? and what if i still need to implement these notes? Please can you'll help me on this?

I searched some threads but couldn't find the answers to my queries.

I am using SAP ECC 6.0.

The notes may not be appropriate for your current release/support pack, or they may contain manual processes. Have you read the notes?

Check the prerequisites of these notes.. and compare your current patches and required patches.

If I'm not wrong maybe you need to implement it's prerequisites. Also, check if these notes are referring to the right system (there might be notes for SAP GRC for example).

Also, be aware that old OSS notes might be already in your system if they were implemented by SP and not manually.

Summing up with what Matthew has mentioned, check the following:

- If the note is valid to the right system (if the note is for ECC, download and open it inside ECC)

- If the note is valid to your current release/support package. ECC 6.0 is not enough. OSS implementations are done for each release aka 6.00, 6.04, 6.06 etc.

- If the note contains just manual steps. In such cases you have to open SAP Marketplace to see the manual implementation steps - usually pdf files attached to the note. Such files cannot be seen from transaction code SNOTE.

- If the note contains any prerequisites. If there are, implement all of them beforehand. For each of the prerequisites, you must follow the same instructions mentioned above.

there are some steps mentioned,not specified as manual activity though.

there is some attached file mentioned in the steps but there are no files attahced with the note. How can i get this file then? Do i need credentials for SAP marketplace?

Yes. Or you need someone in your workplace with those credentials to download it for you.

Regarding this note 1477691 there is some manual steps needs to implemented  check the attached corrections as per the SAP note.

login with SAP market place using Suser id and search with the relevant Snote number.

i can see with the note there is one text file is attached which contains some coding related corrections
