Time out error while running MB5B - how do debug

When we try to run standard report MB5B selecting only the company code , plant, and a specific storage location selecting the special stock indicator as E and for a particular date , getting short dump error tiem out. We had recently created a new mateieal group, valuation class with GL account assignment ( for raw material) on which client i suspecting as since then MB5B is issuing error .Where as for all other combinations it si working fine Please note this storage location is for finished goods Please any one advice how can we debug the cause

Better than debug, you should try transactions like

• ST12 Single transaction Analysis
• ST05 SQL trace
• SAT Abap trace

to identify which steps trigger the time out?
