Time limit exceeded, performance issue on importing data from memory id

Hi Experts,

I'm getting time out exceeded,runtim error for the below issue,

For a transaction S_ALR_87013543 the time out is still 1800 seconds

But in a Zprogram

the syntax "import t_loop_2 (contains 180,00 entires)from memory id c_memory_loop." is consuming 25% of the time and the FM CALL CUSTOMER-FUNCTION '001' consuming 59% of the time, as both are present inside a loop which is looping for 180,000 records.

Please suggest how can i improve the performance without increasing the time limit.

HI Ashok,

My first query is that - Do you think the query is complete?

If yes, then, why are you looping the IMPORT statement, you can directly bring the data from the Memory ID. If you are facing problems with the normal IMPORT statement, then you can make use of Shared Buffer of the IMPORT Statement or Shared Memory of the IMPORT statement, as both work on the Buffering of the Memory.

You can directly bring the complete internal table data which is present in the memory, using the statement,

  IMPORT INTERNAL TABLE ITAB = IT_ITAB from MEMORY ID ......

I hope, I've read your query properly, if not please revert back with the proper elaboration and at the same time, please provide the SE30 Analysis.
