Hi
I have been trying to upload a TIF file by running RSTXLDMC. but, i am getting the following error.
Error Text :
Uploading TIFF Files to SAPscript Texts 1

This is a TIFF file with INTEL byte order

I have already uploaded 2 TIF files.. but of ligher resoultion.. i was wondering like what could be the error.
Help in this regard is much appreciated.

The report has got a very elaborate documentation. Have you gone throught that ?
If yes, then please refer to some of the OSS Notes on TIFF upload. I found too many of them and can't figure out which one is the most relevant for you, with the information provided.

Your tif file must be a baseline 6.0 tif file. Depending on how you created it, it could be something else. Use the following converter to convert to tif. This is practically the only one that I found that actually works.

hi:
you first have to save your file as jpeg.
then save it as bmp 24bitmap and then save the bmp as tiff file and execute the program.
you can try doing all these changes by using the photo
editors

Hi All,
I found out that the TIF has to be of a specific type. SAP only supports certain TIF types like Gray scales or RGB colour mode. This last type worked for me and all the errors were gone and the standard text created.
My only problem now is that the image in SAP is not in colour, although the source file is and all settings are set to convert a colour file.
