The New ABAP editor & Debugger do not work

Hi,

I am facing a problem with NetWeaver 7.0 trial version that i have installed on my PC.

I am not able to use the new ABAP editor or the debugger. When i select the new abap editor and try to open a report, i get a busy mouse icon and nothing happens from then.

When i try to debug a program or a web dynpro application, i dont get the debugger (i am not able to debug)

Kindly help me in this regard.

What SAPgui version do you have? Make sure you have the latest, as well as the latest patch level.

Hi,

Of course, install latest SAP GUI and it's latest patch.

Regarding debugger - you should increase number of work processes (dialog) in system profile (rz10)

Currently, the new ABAP editor is avaible from WAS 6.20, the new ABAP debugger from WAS 6.40.
