Text issues in Report

HI All,

in our BW Report , we have out put for 0fiscper field like the below. ( Our source is s/4 hana and we are on BW4hana)..

January 2019

February 2019

March 2019 etc.

So our requirement is to get the same as

Jan 2019

Feb 2019

March 2019.

Is it possible using ABAP ? if yes please provide few inputs.

something like that ?

SPLIT ... AT ' ' INTO TABLE IT_Split_Table IN CHARACTER MODE.

LOOP AT IT_Split_Table INTO DATA(IS_Split_Line).

IF sy-tabix eq 1.

CONCATENATE LV_Line IS_Split_Line-Line+0(3) into LV_line

else.

CONCATENATE LV_line IS_Split_Line-Line into LV_Line.

endif.

ENDLOOP.

Hi Ravi,

you can use FM : HR_IN_GET_DATE_COMPONENTS, there you can enter date and will get

the output in desired format .
