Hi all,

Does anyone know how to change the Default Language of a Text Elements in a

Report?

I have a Z report (originally created in language FR) having Text Elements

(Text Symbols and Selection Texts) in FR, and I want to change that from FR

to IT.

If you want to use text element in a different language use:

SET LANGUAGE lang.

1. the default language

AUTOMATICALLY comes from login language.

2. The TEXT ELEMENTS

are automatically fetched

(if they are maintained in the logon language)

3. If they are not maintained,

please maintaine / create them.

Hi

Log to SAP with IT language and update your Z-PROGRAM, now the system'll ask you if you want to change the original language and you choose YES.

hi,

go to text elements->

click on translation from menu

use source language FR , and target language IT.

translate the text elements.

Goto menu > choose Translation a small pop-up window will

appear asking for target language now your reports original language will be

displayed as FR and type IT in the target language

and press enter. this will take you to the translation screen

where u will have your french text and below that u will have a

text box where u can put your Italian text.

Hi Pintu,

you can use the transaction <b>SE63</b>.

( SE63 is the transaction code for translation).

This allows you to do the required translation of the text elements from FR to IT.
