the system is not allowing me to increase the default length from the maximum of 132 characters. how to do that?

Hi Sharad,

the value 132 for the Text element is hardcoded in MSTEXI00 ( RS38M-IMAXLEN = 132 ).. I don't think you will be able to change it without an access key..

Hi Sharad,

Hi

this is from f1 on dlength field:

Defined length of a text symbol, indicated by characters other than space in the text string.

This length is only given for information and is not saved in the text pool.
