Text element translation

Hi Gurus,

I have to translate the text-elements to Portugees,

in english the length is 10(suppose) but in PT it needs 20 char so how can i do it while doing translation as it takes only 10.

Correct ans will be rewarded points.

Hi amresh,

To translate text elements in other languages,you should use transactio se63.

Change the length of the text element to 20 characters in EN first (in the text elements maintainence screen) and then translate to the target language.

hi

when u double click to ur text element u will be in text element screen here for thsat element give the max letter vale in the last coloum and to translate do this

Goto--> transalation

in that text screen

Hi,

Change the maximun length in english to 20(which is required in portugal).

And then do the translations.

go to se63.....

GoTo->SE35->Text elements.

Then GoTo->Translation.
