Text element translation

Hi All,

I have a requirement like i have text element in my report with the log on language "EN".If i logged into the system with the language 'DE'.

The text element text has to display in the German.

How can i do this this is very urgent .Please can anybody help me out please

I have gone through the SE63.But the text is not translating when i logged in german i am getting the same output as like english.

Can anybody please give me the clear picure how to do everything.

goto SE63 and translate the text ...

Hi Swapna,

In the menu bar we will be having GOTO button.

GOTO---> Translation then you change your target language

to which u want. Then it will be changed to your language you required.

Hi,

Every text element is maintained under text table so if you want the text in both in EN and DE maintain in the text table you will get in DE. Also you can do translate it in DE through transaction se63

You can do it by two ways:

1) Go to SE63, and translate th text;

2) On the program, click on Goto --> Translation, and input the desired laguage to translate, then translate the text.

Hi Swapna,

In order to design texts in the list body in multiple language, Text Symbols are used.

It has 3digit alphanumeric ID like TEXT-001.

Menu: Goto->Text Elements->Text Symbols.

To translate the text elements choose

Goto->Translation from the ABAP Editor.

Note: Text Elements have to be activated.
