Testing ABAP Dev Tools with ABAP trial system (dev license)

Hi,

In order to test ABAP Development Tools (ADT), it would be good if it was compatible with the latest available ABAP trial system.

Currently, the SAP NW Abap trial system is version 7.02 SP11, whilst ADT according to the FAQ requires  7.03/7.31 SP4.

Questions:

1. Will ADT work with the ABAP trial system even though the version is not sufficient on paper?

2. If no, could you please update the ABAP trial system to a sufficient version?`

You can download new 7.03 trial version from "Downloads > Software Downloads > SAP NetWeaver Main Releases"

Hi Dagfinn,

Jorge is right, meanwhile the updated trial version of AS ABAP 7.03 SP04 is available for download on SCN. This version is compatible with the officially released ABAP Development Tools available in the SAP Software Download Center on SMP. In addition, we also plan to offer a trial version of the new ABAP IDE quite soon, which directly will be available for download on SCN like the AS ABAP trial.

It's sad that we do not have AS ABAP 7.03 32bit, eager to test how the new ADT work.
