Test Data Directory

Hi Frendz,

After executing a Function Module, we will get Test Data Directory Button on Application tool bar, what is the use of Test Data Directory ?

Its is like a variant in case of report.

You can save the test data for future use, so that you may not enter all the test data every time manually.

With that You can check for the data , which was ouput by the execution of the fun mod.

I guess it acts like a variant ,

1. give the parameters and click on save button

2. now click on that button , it will display ur variant

Just <b>enter the values and press save</b>.It will ask for comments enter some name.

When u execute teh FM next time u can take the values from the directory.

Make sure that if u r making some changes in the FM then teh test data wont be available.

Just give the importing and exporting parameters on that screen and click on SAVE button,

it will ask for variant name ,give that and click ok button

now click on that it will show that variant

go to se37.

Press f8.

Fill the data for importing paramters and tables parameters.

Click on save button.

Give a name for your test data .

and save.

From next time onwards, you can chose that test data.
