Hi,
Technical specifications should contain the details about the flow of program logic. If possible, pseudo code also can be there. It should contain information about the tables, transaction, program name, include name, etc., used in the program.
Once it is prepared,Technical persons should start developing the code.

Technical specification is the document prepared by the ABAP person, detailing out the technical solution for the functional problem given to him. It will talk about tables being accessed, details of the output any interactive capabilities etc etc.

Hi Farooq,
Technical templates will be given either by the company or customer.
There u have to fll details such as
1) The package were the program is stored and the request no.
2) the tables and strutures used.
3) the logic should be given in flow chat representatiom.
4) the program logic should be written in words.(1 0r 2 page).
Suggest you to <b>Search in SDN with key - Technical Specifications</b>
Will get few more useful related Posts.
Reward points if this Helps.

Hi,
The functional specifications would be interpreted by a techno functional person and would be put on paper as a technical specifications. it is a doc which would suggest the methodology an abaper has to follow, many times abaper has to write the technical spec or else he is directly provided with it from the onsite guys.
hope it helps.

Hi Farooq,
In addition to what Jayanthi and Ravi said, the Technical Specification will also contain a list of Unit Test Cases and Possible Error Conditions along with their descriptive messages.
