Hi,
You can create new text ids and its respective description using the view V_TTXIDI .
To view the values, open the table TTXID.

Hi Raghu,
You are not getting my requirement.
I am going to use EDIT_TEXT to display a new editor where the users types his information.
To call the function module I need to use TEXTID & TEXTOBJECT. how to create a new TEXTID and TEXTOBJECT.

Tcode SE73 -> Environment -> Standard Text.
Sorry, that is to create a standard text. To create a new text id etc I think you use tcode SE75.

I tried all the above steps but i cant create a new text object and text id...please send
the steps if any one can.

OK. Tcode SE75. Choose Text Objects and IDs and click the Change button. On the next screen, click the Create button, enter the Object Name, Description and anything else it asks for, click the green tick. On the next screen, highlight the new object, click on the Text IDs button, click on Create, enter the Text ID and Description. Finally, save the lot.
