TCODE Working inDevelopment but not in Quality.

Hi,

I have made a custom Tcode for BDC for transaction iq01 in development. Its working fine. But on being transpoted to quality, its not working. On running Tcode in quality, it returns to front end screen.

Kindly let me know what might be the error.

Please check your call transaction stmt and the paramters passed to it..

I did not get you completly. I am calling the BDC program from Tcode made for end user. But it not working in quality. Can you please elaborate your answer if you find I am going wrong in my understanding?

Hi,

Then check whether the Tcode which u have created for that BDC program is activated in the same request of that program.. I think it may be a program. Check in quality whether the Tcode is in the correct version.

Check the details of the Tcode in SE93 also..

Please check the transports wheere all the objects are activated under it and you are not missing anything...

unless there is something missing,it should not create any problem when it is working fine in dev,,

and also check if the BDC recording done by you is covering all the aspects of the trnsaction..

Both, the Tcode and Program, have been activated in same request and transported.

Any other solution that you can suggest?

Hi,

Check if you have chosen the correct type for your t.code while creating it.

If your program is a executable report then the type of t.code should be "Program and selection screen (Report transaction)".

If your program is a dialog program then the type of t.code should be "Program and screen (Dialog transaction)".

I changed the Tcode settings and transported it again to quality.
