Tcode--SPAD--edit format type

Hi All,

i have created a custom output device type and custom format type, but im unable to assign the format type to the device type.

can anybody please help me where exactly can i assign the format type to device type?

appreciate ur help...

Hi,

In the list of device types (in SPAD) select your new device type and press the 'Formats' button. This will list the formats assigned to the device type and here you can choose, Change then Create to add your format.

Name of a device type

If you are creating a new device type, enter a name of your choice

beginning with Y or Z. (customer namespace)

If you are defining an output device, choose the name of the device type

defined in the R/3 System for your printer model.
