Hi all,

When I changed the field type from char to int4 which has empno filed that has a reference with the other table. Then I went to Utilities - Database Utility and I clicked avtivate and adjust database. Then the program got terminated after that icant get into the table and it says or a message comes it is locked because a restart log exists.

Go to SM12 and delete the lock.

you need to delete lock entries in transaction SM12 and then again go to SE14 and adjust table with delete/save data as per your requirement.

Goto SE14(Database Utility), check the reason for the termination of database utility, rectify it and re-run the database utility to get your table activated.
