Table Maintenance

Hi,

Could any one clarify this? Is there any restriction on the <b>number of entries</b> that can be transported to Quality system using the table maintenance generator?

For example: I have a Ztable. I have created Table maitenance generator for the Ztable. Now in SM30 if I want to enter values in it and transport to quality system is there any restriction on the number of table entries I can include in the transport request or number of entries I can maintain in SM30?

I have to say, that I don't know for sure, but I would really be surprised if there was a limit, it doesn't make much sense to me. I wonder what generated this question, are you seeing some issue that you have a doubt?

I felt the same. I too dont know the actual origin of this question but this came through a technical person.

There is no limit ,for testing purpose i did R&D,There is no limit.

You can have n number of records.

testing purpose i just added 4000 records in one request,i did not get any issue..

Same one request - it contains all the records.

I found some issue like in STMS ,Normally importing happen within 30 seconds.

but table records ,it took 2 to 3 minutes of time .

other than this ,no issues.
