Table maintenance view problem

Hi all,

I have a table maintenance view , in which now some field is not to be filled by the user , so they want it to be hidden , Please tell me how to Hide a field in Maintenance view.

Also One of the field in the Maintenance view is to be filled with a specific value

while saving without need to be enter , i think this has to be done using event , but where to write this subroutine (in which include) .Please suggest your valuable views .

While selecting the fields, do not select this field in the maintanence view,

U have to use Events
