hi..

Pls spend some time in searching the SCN before posting any query. It will take less time for you to search in SCN rather than typing ur query.

check out this threads.

Padma

When you select one step then it will divert initial screen and will directly take you to the table entries screen.

If you are selecting standard recording routine then it will move table

contents to quality and production by assigning it to request.

Cheers!!

Hi,

What is One step, two step in Table Maintenance Generator?

This specifies the screens to be created in the Table Maintenance Program.

Single step: Only overview screen is created i.e. the Table Maintenance Program will have only one screen where you can add, delete or edit records.

Two step: Two screens namely the overview screen and Single screen are created. The user can see the key fields in the first screen and can further go on to edit further details.

Thanks.

Hi venkata,

1. When we choose two step, two screens will be created for table maintenance. For single step only one screen will be created. When we choose two step, table maintenance will work as follows:

Go to SM30, give the table name for which you have created table maintenance Overview screen will be displayed. To create entries, when you click on u2018new entriesu2019. Another screen will be displayed, where you give input and save. You can enter one record at a time.

When we choose single step, table maintenance will work as follows:

Go to SM30, give table name for which you have created table maintenance Overview screen will be displayed; To create entries click on u2018new entriesu2019, you can enter the records on the same screen. You can enter multiple records at a time. We use single step generally, as it is user friendly.

2. In 'Standard recording routine' Changes are recorded by the standard recording routine. If there

are individual routines, they supplement the standard routine. while In 'no, or user, recording routine'

it shows that Indicator that an individual recording routine will be used if available.Changes are recorded individual event routines, if defined, otherwise not at all.

I hope this information will help you.

Saurabh
