Table maintenance event problem

Hi all,

I have a table called zitem.

Structure:

Item

Item name

Item code

Suppression flag

Suppression date

If the suppression flag EQ X, it should allow the user to enter sy-datum or future date. Else error message has to display

For new entry it is working fine ( as I have include 05 event in my table maintenance event )

But for existing entry when the user tries to change the flag, it is accepting the past date ( eventhough i have included before saving event 01 in my include ).
