Table maintainence

Hi,

I have a created a z table and made delivery class 'C'.So if i want to create entries in Quality server, the system is asking to open the client in which the Basis consultant has to open the client and in return after creating the table entries, the client has to closed.

So please suggest me how to create entries in Quality server??

Hi,

If the table is type C then you need to transport those entries from DEV to QA to PRD. If you want to make entries in QA then you need to open the system.

If you want to maintain the table in each server then make it of Type A and Select maintainace allowed.

Hi Atish,

I tried with Delivery class 'A' and the object is now in Quality system.I tried to create entries still it says the client has status 'not modifiable'.

Please suggest..

All answers so far are accurate, but if your table is application data not config you need to change the table maintenance generator to 'no recording of changes' to allow entry into any system.
