Hello,

I have created a Z table and also a Z transaction (with SM30 view) to maintain it. we want to maintain that table across all the systems.

But we are unable to mainatin the entries in Quality after transport. Though we have required authorizations. can some body tell me if any specific settings to be maintained for the table?.

Thanks.

Praveen

Hi Mummaneni,

If you are able to maintain the entries in the Development sever, it is obvious that you can also able to maintain in the quality and production aswell after move the TR.

if it is not like that check with your transport request, were the moved sequentially or not.

Regards!

Hi,

You can either transport it, or maintain it directly in quality. You can't do both.

The settings of the table maintenance generator in SE11 dictate which is the case.

Nick

in SE54 give view name->select Generated object -> Create- >Give Authorization group for maintenance (you will have to be in that group) -> Function Group for screens (may be create by you) -> Choose maintenance steps either in two screens or in one -> Click Find Screen numbers -> check standard recording routine -> Save -> Chek sm30 if you can maintain the entries.

Regards

Marcin

Hi,

Set the recording routine to 'No, or user recording', this is allow it to be maintained directly in all systems.

Nick

Hi,

Did you use maintenance view generator (SE54)? Was this Ztcode added to your roles, authorizations? Are you managed to create new entries in DEV system? Have you included all the objects in TRQ?

Please ensure all of the above are completed.
