Hi All,

I have created a table and done table maintainance also for that.

When i go to SM30 and maintain that table, two fields in that table should be in change mode for edit the fields entered. But all the fields are in display mode only.

Can anybody tell me how to make the two fields in change mode.

Thanks and regards,

Vasu.

Goto SM30 in change mode, or click on the icon Display - Change.

Also make a note that you can not change primary key field values.

Vasu,

I think you can't change the Primary Key fields... You can delete the row and can add again with the changes....

Hope this helps..

Chandra.

Did you make any change to table design after table maint was created?

If yes, you need to delete and recreate table maint.

Do you have authorization for the authorization group that you assigned it to?

Check if you have generated the Table Maintenance for the table properly.

Did the table structure change after the Maintenance screen was generated?

Also, Set the maintenance type to one step. And as usual, if you have declared the fields as key fields, you cannot change them via sm30

Hi Vasu,

I hope you have not changed the table contents and layout after generating the Table maintanece generator. just , regenerate the Table once again.

But be sure to check that the Primary keys are not in edit mode, Always only the non-primary key fields should be in edit mode. If this is true, then the table maintanence generator is generated correctly.

Hope this resolves your query.

Nagaraj
