How we can add selection screen in Table mainatance generator.

give me step by step method

Hello,

In SM30 U can do it.

GIve the table name and Choose the <b>Enter Condition</b> radio button.

This will show a popup whcih will looks like a selection screen,

If useful reward.

hi Skk,

yes we can have this selection screen for restricting the data to be displayed in the maintenance screen.

step1: create a maintenance view for the table from SE11.

step2: in the "<b><u>veiw fields" tab, enter 'S' in column 'P</b>' for the fields which you want in the selection screen.</u> (<b>you will not see this column unless you scroll the horizontal scroll bar to the left</b>)

step3:now create the maintenance screen (one step).

goto sm35 and maintain/display the view, you will first get a popup with the fields you want to restrict the data.

Have you tried Vasanths solution?

To search particular value ,

1. In SM30 give the view name and display

2. In menu , selection->by contents>select the field to search and ok

3. give the value to search

<b>Ans = SE11.</b>

Firstlyl, you should create a<b> mainenance view</b> for the table, where you

choose the underlying table for the view.

2-> then you choose the fields from the table, in the tab <b>VIEW FIELDS</b>

3->the table maintenance screen is generated based on this view.
