Table Index on View cluster or View doesnt throw error

Hi,

I created a table with a Unique Index on primary key and other table field. When I enter values in the table which voilates the unique index it throws error.

I created a View cluster or a maintenance view for that table. Here when i enter value which voilate the unique index it doesnt throw the error. It gives message that Data is saved, but it doesnt save the data.

Is there anything i am missing as I am not getting the error.Pl suggest.

Hello,

Have you manage all technical setting of the table ??

Or you client is customized to not fill some data in tables

Have you try to do that in other client ??
