Table height in Smart Forms

Hi all

I am using a table in smartforms main window and set its pattern as per the requirement.And i have given the minimum height of table as that of main window.

If there is only one line item the height of the table is not growing to that of the main window.I cann't use Template as the contents will increase.

My Only Question is how can we fix the size of the table to that of main window irrespective of the table contents.

No. The height of a table in a smart form is dynamic and depends only on the contents of the data within it. However it will not exceed the height of the window in which it is enclosed.

My main window height is 55MM and my table min. height is also 55MM .

What happening is if there is only one record the height of table is comming down to around 25MM.

I need the table height tobe equal to that of main window even if it contains one record.

That is not possible. The table height will be adjusted to the amount of data that is there in the table.

The minimum height for a table is used for a different purpose. If there is not enough space on the current window for the table to be printed as specified by Minimum height, then the table will be printed on the next page.

Hi

You cant Increase the size of the window more than the main window its of sure. If you want increase the main window size and then increase the window size

You can use a template with only borders set and its height maintained as per your requirement for the main window.

Then overlap this template on your main window with being your height of the main window and template window same.

this would enable to maintain the height of the main window constant irrespective of the number of records displayed.

if there is only one record displayed then the space below it will be blank.

For footer you can use a new window with the same column measurements so as to make it seem as if it is the footer of the main window.

Instead of table you can use template.Keep the size of the template same as the main window.Check in Form painter main window and template should be overlapped on one another.
