Table fields update

Hi experts,

I have a database table in which there are 2 fields. One for the user ID and another for the corresponding user name. I also have a maintenence view for this table.

Is it possible that whenever I enter the user ID the corresponding Complete name for that particular ID is populated in the view automatically. Can I write code in some BADI for this automatic updation?
