table entries

Hi,

I created a new table ZTSD_T001W which is copied from T001W table.

I created a new table maintenance .When I go to SM30 and enter the table name and click on maintain button it is giving an information message as 'Entry missing in TSADRV,new address maintenance cannot be called'.What does this mean?How can I remove this message?

Check whether you table is active or not.

Hiya,

When you get the error message popup press F1 to see the extended help. This should show you exactly what to do, something alongs the lines of:

Maintain the table TSADRV with the transaction SM30.

create an entry for Dictionary table ZTSD_T001W, Dictionary field ADRNR.

enter the address group:

A consistent address group in the customer namespace should be used for addresses of customizing objects not delivered by SAP: use the address group 'ZA01'.

As this address group is in the customer namespace of table TSAD7, the entry 'ZA01' must also be made in table TSAD7 in the customer system:

Key: ZA01

Description: Customizing: Customer object addresses

Direct maint.: not marked

Also create the address group 'ZADE' in the table TSAD7 for addresses of deleted customer objects (if the address of the address group 'ZA01' is still referred to elsewhere when you try to delete a customer object, the address is not deleted, the address group is changed to 'ZADE'):

Key: ZADE

Description: Customizing: Adresses of deleted customer objects

Direct maint: not marked

Should I make an entry in TSADRV table?If so,there no Z fields in this table.If I enter table name as ZTSD_T001W, would this effect the entries in the table TSADRV?

Like I said read the extended help (press F1) when you get the error popup. It advises you to do exactly that. I believe this is related to central address management, maybe you should read up on this before making a copy of T001W.

after creating the table you also need to generate table maintanace genaratoe

like

<b>UTILITIES -> TABLE MAINTANCE GENARATOR</b>

1)enter Authorization Group = &NC& (for all the users means no ristriction)

2) Function Group = ur table name

3)maitance type one or two step

4)click on find screen you will get on pop up processing screen numbers

5) clik on ok default screen numbers will be genarated

6)next click on creat button

7)and save

after that you go to sm30 t-code and enter table name and click on then u don't get any error

Nothing has to be done it is very simple just do one thing

just delete ur current function module above all make a new request that is important for error like this all ur entries may b getting stored in some of the wrong requests .

start a fresh u will b able to do it .

Hema,

Once you have copied table from existing one ,all the attributes of the tables are copied excluding the Table Maintainance Generator.So If you have created a new one,then try to delete the previous entries and create a new one.

You can do it in Tr SE11 -> Utilities -> Table maintainace Generator

This Should solve your Problem.

This happens because the extended table maintenance (sm30) uses the (new) Business Address Services for maintaining customizing object addresses from Release 4.0A. The associated entry in the Business Address Services control table TSADRV does not exist.

The solution is,

<b>1.</b> Maintain the table TSADRV with the transaction SM30.

<b>2.</b> Create an entry for Dictionary table ZTSD_T001W, Dictionary field ADRNR.

enter the address group:

<b>3.</b> A consistent address group in the customer namespace should be used for addresses of customizing objects not delivered by SAP: use the address group 'ZA01'.

If you will create Z entry in the TSADRV table,it should not create any problem.Its a SAP provided solution.But do exactly as it is there in my post.

I donot know what your problem is.But I sure can tell you that if i would have seen your answer then I wouldnot have replied with same post.I just gone through hema's problem and tried to solve that.Anyways its a SAP provided solution.Its not yours or mine.But I still can't figure out ,why are you so upset,If someone have replied with the same answer.

About the reward points,I am not begging for it.If you care to search through different posts,many other guys have used the same line.As I am new to this forum,I just set it to get appended to each post I make.If that bothers you

If you care to go through my first post ,the first post was a completely different solution than the latter one.Then I got the SAP help solution as you did and replied to Hema.But I had not seen you post.

But did Hema mark this thread as 'Answered' after your post.NO,She didnot.She was searching for the answer,thats why I tried to reply her with the SAP provided solution.

So it should not bother you anymore.
