i want to increase the field lenght of a text field of a standard table...is it possible.

is there any other way to do it.

Hi Johnson,

It is not recommended to change the properties of a field in standard table, it is not possible to do also.

I suggest you to append a structure to the standard table, and in that structure define a text field of your choice and use it in your requirements. But be careful to adjust the table properly, for help check this link.

copy that standard on and then change

Hi

it is not recommanded to change the fields length of the standard table.

first copy it in customer namespace and than do changes.
