Hi,

Is there anyone can tell me what's the difference between two table definition:

1. TABLES: VBAK

2. TABLES: *VBAK

Hi,

Both of them give you a table work area for the database table VBAK. Technically, I don't think there's any difference as such.

The * notation for a tables work area is sometimes used to contain the temporary values.
