TABLE CONTROL WITHOUT WIZARD

HI ALL,

[ecc6.0]

I AM CREATING TABLE CONTROL WITHOUT WIZARD.

NOW I HAVE DRAGED AT PUTTED TABLE CONTROL ON SCREEN.

HOW CAN ADD THE FIELD ON THAT TABLE CONTROL

PLEASE HELP ME AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE.

in Layout give F6

u will be getting a screen

there if u want tto take columns from internal table then Give the itab name and click get from program option

else give the dictionary table name and click get from table ...u will get the columns...

seelect the required fields and give enter...

then Drop in ur table contyrol.

reward if helpfull.

hello,

1. Take the layout, press F6.

2. Enter the table name which you want to refer to create the field.

3. Tick the required entries.

4. Then select the tick mark.

5. Drag it to your table control.

Hi

In screen paiter go to Go to->Secondary Window->Dict. program fields

Here insert the structure having the fields for table control, select and drag them to the table control in screen painter.

hi all

once again.

upto selecting fields for table control without wizard i have done.

but when i am droping these fields into my table control i anm not getting the heading for the field and also not getting the format in tabular format. it is seeing like blank paper.

what can i do for that. is there any setting for that.

plz reply as soon as u can

Hi Vinod,

u cannot get the fieldnames if u are taking from internal table.

In each column u place the textbox(label box) and give the column name.

Keep in mind taht u have to do the same for each columns in the first row.

thanks for reply sumi,

i have put the label box on col. now i can see the col heading but

now i cant get the horizontal lines in that column i get only blank column.

for that wht can i do.

Double click the table control and u can see the Properties.

There u can find SEPERATORS...in taht click Horizzontal and vertical.

DONT FORGET TO GIVE POINTS IF USEFULL

Hi Vinod,

Just double click on right top of the table control and CHECK/MARK the Vertical and horizontal check box under Separators heading in the table control attributes in screen painter.

First add fields to table control in blank area using Input/Output field tool by dragging it from left to right..

and after that add its title using Text Field tool

u can as many field as u want..

Tell me if u r able to do this..
