Hello Experts,

I would like to ask if performing Archiving on documents will also create a Change pointer entry in table BDCP2?

Archiving will not create change pointers as it does not do any update, it just deletes something.

If you need change pointers created, then you may follow the approach outlined in KBA 1795412 - Customer / Vendor Master Data archiving
