System refesh/copy automation process

Hi experts,

I have an automation requirement where i need to do system copy through custom BAPi, So is there any standard BAPI available to do this requirement and is this requirement feasible? .

Srinivas,

Even Basis uses some kind of automation ( not involving much of manual work ) to do System Refresh/Copy at the OS level.

Developing a Custom Program for this, sounds like reinventing the wheel.

Let's see what experts got to opine.
