System dependet default SAP GUI Design

Hi to all!

In the SAP GUI, there is the possibility to set system design dependent.

So it is different from R3 system to R3 system.

Is there a way to change the design on the R3 system or what criteria will be the default design chosen?

Hi Heramann,

If i am not wrong you mean to the SAP GUI settings from whihc we can change the SAP looks appearance and all.If it is so we can do it when we are on SAP Easy Access screen in the just below main menu bar we have tools where we type are desired tcodes and all.There if we notice the last option red green block. known as customize local layout.We can set the settings from here.Hope your query is answered.

Hallo Srivastava!

I know this,

If I use the menu Design Setting I set in the first Tab System Dependent and on the second Tab Enjoy.

So wan I Look in an older System the Design is Enjoy an in an new there is Tradeshow?

How can I change this System Dependent Design?

Hi Hermann,

" In all entry fields, a list of the most recently used entries will open in a drop-down menu when you begin to type. This may be more efficient for many users, as you can select a previous entry without keying it entirely, but it is easily turned off if it becomes an annoyance."

In the control panel of the computer system.You can see SAP Configuration Applet from here you can configure things.Then you will also able to configure the drop down menu for other options too.
