sy-ucomm

Hi All,

i have a transaction el61 , its updating the database tables.

when ever i press the SAVE button its updating the table properly ,

But , when i press 'ENTER' its not updating the databse table properly, though the

sy-ucomm value is same (i.e. 'SAVE' ) for both the actions.

can any body pl. advice.

is there any way to differentiate between SAVE and ENTER.

Hi,

Simply go to the System and find out its PF-STATUS or GUI Status , then go to Application Toolbar where you will get all the codes.

Hi Jinna,

The user-command must be different if the action is different.

I think the common user-command for ENTER is 'OKAY'.

Just add it to your code (sy-ucomm = 'SAVE' OR sy-ucomm = 'OKAY')

Hi Jinna Sandeep,

I think the code for enter command is '\00' . U try to give this code in ur sy-ucomm .

I am not sure it will run but u can have try...

Hi,

Record the transaction with Enter button pressed using SHDB transaction, then you will find the sy-ucomm for Enter,if you are not able to differentiate in debugging.

hi jinna,

try to use :

case sy-ucomm.

when 'SAVE' or 'ENTER'.

perform some operation

endcase.

hope this may work,
