Switch Framework : never activated enterprise extentions

Hi,

Could anyone know how to use Switch Framework?

We've tried to activate the EA-FIN enterprise extention, but it have never activated.

Logs said,

"BAdI SFW_SWITCH_CHANGED for switch EA-FS called; start time 105044

1 active BAdI implementations were called

BAdI call completed at 105044

BAdI SFW_SWITCH_CHANGED for switch EA-FIN called; start time 105045

1 active BAdI implementations were called

BAdI call completed at 105045

End of activation".

But, the status of the extention in overview has not changed, still 'out'.

Is this a bug of the Switch Framework?

Hi,

In transaction SFW5, in "Enterprise Add-ON" tab...there will be a list of standard functionalities.Those with status "Off" will be editable in the dropdown..which can be changed to status "On" and activated.Here SAP-FIN ( financial Extensions) is also provided..Please check if this is "Off"..if so change it to "On"...if it is already on then the SAP-FIN is already present

In transaction SFW5, I checked on 'planned state' of EA-FIN and clicked 'Activate Chenges', then Pop-up message 'Job SFW_ACTIVATE_SF0X was started in the background' showed.

But when I restarted the transaction, status did'nt turn to 'On', still 'Off' on the monitor...

Hi,

The background job must successfully activate your Business Function ...can you please check the status of the back ground job...

thank you.

I read some more documents and notes, but hints on this were not found.

I thought, the SP stack level of EA-FIN was too low and it didn't matched to with this new framework. So I tried updating EA-FINSERV from SP stack 08 to 11. But nothing changed.

This is a bug on the basis component SAPKB70013, and this problem is solved on SAPKB70014.(sap note 1082597)
