Hi all,

i am having one doubt regarding Spool Request,

ie,when ever we execute report, script or anything that consists of write statement or ALV in back ground automattcally it will generate spool request. when ever it generates spool in production memory will get wasted,

i want to avoid that thing,i dont want that spool request,

can we do that,

if we can,how can we do that.

advance thanks to all.

Regards,

Anuradha.

Hi,

report is meant for generating some list........and if it is scheduled in background n if u dont want a spool req to be generated how ll u view dat list..........

anyway u hav some thing called Spool-retention period which u can use to delete older spool reqs....

Cheers,

jose.

Yes Jose,

what ever u told is absolutely right.

is there any chance of avoiding that spool generation just for the sake of the memory in production .

Jose,

i have already tried that option ,

but it is not working at all,

actually mine is a script,i dont want that printspool,

without changing or commenting anything of coding can we do that.
