Storing attachments

Hi,

Want to know, when we upload an attachment(file) while creating a Purchase Order (PO), how is the attachment stored? Is the file stored on the server? Or are the file contents stored in binary format?

If the contents are stored in binary format, how can we get the contents in the original format?

Is there any interpreter FM which converts the data again back to normal when we download or open the Documents?

Hi,

depends if you use the DMS module or just the quick link to document.

If it's DMS, depend of the customizing But simply it's a cluster table like the STXH/STXL tables (DRAD, DRAW, ...)
