Standard text issue

Hi Experts,

      I created standard text in Zst1 in client 100.I successfully copied this standard zst1 to client 200

by copy client option in so10.

      Now In client100 I modified Zst1 now i want to update zst1 in client 200(as per the changes done in client 100).

How to achieve this..anyone could you please give me suggestions.. thnks in advance

Hi,

You should use report RSTXTRAN to include SAP standard texts in transport requests.

I think you need to re-import that request in which you have made changes from Client 100 to Client 200.

As i mentioned, try to re-import that request in which you have made changes to your standard text into Client-200.

Hi,

If you have included the text in developement/correction type of  transport request that means if you have run the tcode RSTXTRAN and after doing this you have changed the text in client 100.

Then go to tcode SCC1 give your source client and request no and check include request sub task and run the tcode.

This should solve your problem.

    Your logic is working fine I created one devolped/correc Tr.and run the program RSTXTRAN in client 100 and trnsfr and In client200 using scc1 I updated the standard text in Zst1.

    Can you tell me how to transport the Standard text in between the different systems(servers)

thats good...

For your next question, you can google it.. but to tell you in short for that.. go to tcode se09 - release the child and parent request.. then go to other server.. tcode - stms_import.. select and import the request.
