Standard SAP program balance

Is there any standard SAP program for carry forward balance between years?

I would like to understand its logic in order to apply it in BW.

Can you be more specific? What balance and carry from where to where?

Accounting balances.

When you carry forward the amount of N-1 to January of the current year.

I'm not aware of a single program for such purpose. You might want to ask in the FI forum, but even if there is a transaction for that, I doubt it's something that could be easily copy-pasted.
