How dowe add the standard profile for example :S_A.ADMIN into a role ? Or do we Directly assign it ?

If you have some burning desire to use that profile then you can either assign it directly or import it into a role.

Go into the role auth tab, edit->insert auths from profile.

I dont have any desire to assign that !! but there is an agent that runs on the system whose documentation tells that the agent will not work else...

So the plan is I give them this profiel on the Sandbox...runt the trace and then develop the role

You may find it easier to work with if you read the profile into a role & go from there if you want to. It's easy to forget when profiles are assigned to users when you mainly work in roles.
