Standard method to Locking Custom Developed Program not attached to T Code

Hello,

Is there any standard functionality by which we can lock custom developed program from used by other users for some time. I want to lock custom developed program from used by other users during transportation or during any development changes in the program which is not attached to T-code. Is there any standard fuctionality to acheive this.

Is there any standard fuctionality to lock a particular T code during the development/transportation or maintance time.if any kindly let me know.

Check the transaction SM01.

Hi Kiran,

As suggested by Suhas, T.Codes can be locked using SM01. This is a general practice to lock the T.Code while transporting any related request. But locking the T.Code will work for the users which call the T.Code after SM01 activity, it will not effect for the users who are already using the T.Code. So, after locking the T.Code, ask your basis to to talk to the end users before locking and if needed forcefully remove the users from those T.Codes.
