Standard dynpro fields in a control (BADI)

Hi,

I have to implement a BADI that allows to put on a certain screen what requires the user: a tree, grid, html ... and in general all that can be placed in a control. But what happens if the user wants simply a standard dynpro?

Can be a standard dynpro attatched to an object control? Or there is some way for display standard dynpro fields inside an object control?

You cannot call screens from ABAP Objects. You can however call a Function Module(FM) and the FM can then use the CALL SCREEN command to invoke a screen that is defined as part of the Function Group. Code CALL SCREEN 100 in your FM and then double click the line to build the screen.

thanks for your reply.

But I want see the standard dynpro fields "on" the control, and calling a FM I will see the fields on another dynpro.

If the SAP architects did not hide the treasure somewhere, it is <b>not</b> possible to include standard dynpro elements on controls.

I agree with Serdar that you cannot include standard dynpro fields "on" the control. However, ABAP does support mixing standard dynpro fields and controls on the same screen. The control would appear in a container that is only a piece of the screen. The rest of the screen can have standard dynpro fields. Unless there is a subscreen with an exit defined in the screen you are referring to, you would have to modify the screen to achieve what you are looking for.
